The interface and the details that Relationship Tracker delivers to the person using the application is second to none and because of it's clean simple interface design, you will have the application mastered in minutes versus hours or even days.

Three Views of the Data

Computer data is like a filing cabinet, it's really that simple. What a database application provides is the means of being able to electronically store related pieces of data to facilitate the retrieval and reporting of a specific piece of data. It does this very quickly and very efficiently. Relationship Tracker provides you the ability to enter, search, retrieve, and report on that data and it offers you three viewing methods of the data. These three methods are the Grid View, Inspector View, and Notations View. Just like a filing cabinet, in Grid View I'm looking at the data like an open drawer with all of the folders in view. In the Inspector View, I have specifically focused my attention on a specific folder and in notations view, I have somewhat retrieved a sheet of paper from the folder. Managing the Data

So, even if you have these three views of the data, how can I manage all of this data after I start collecting it? Simple, use the built in Search, Filtering, Grouping, and Sorting features in the Grid View. After you have narrowed down your data you can just go to the toolbar and produce a Report or Export the specified data into Excel™ or HTML for web based output!

Grid Filtering

What can be said about the power of the Grid Reporting feature of Relationship Tracker™? You can group, sort, organize and select the data which is important to you and the click of a button have it presented to you in a formatted report instantly. You can just print at that point or you can open the Report Designer shown in this screen image and fine tune how you want the elements of your report configured prior to sending the output to your printer. Keep in mind that this feature is not the Report Writer that has all of the system reports. Think of it at a means to print or export your data on the fly by your requirements.

Grid Reporting

You can always change the "Control Focus" from Grids to Inspectors and report the same way on a single Inspector record. You don't have quite the flexibility that you do in Grid mode, but you can report more easily on the full record versus limited information on multiple records.
